Interested in voice lessons?
I am a compassionate teacher, committed to helping clients discover how their voice works, leading the way to better vocal quality, wider range, improved stamina and greater overall artistry. My functional approach to training singers is based on current voice science and the integration 21st century teaching practices. Methods used in the lesson take into account the whole person – body, mind and voice – to help clients achieve their goals as singers and artists. All styles are welcome: Pop, rock, country, jazz, R&B, gospel, classical and more
I have a doctorate in voice and vocal pedagogy from the University of Kentucky and over 15 years of teaching experience in the private vocal studio and academic settings. Trained in classical music, Ellen performs locally with Cincinnati Opera and the Vocal Arts Ensemble, and nationally as a concert soloist and a member of the professional vocal ensemble, Conspirare. In addition to her private studio, she teaches Voice at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music in the Jazz and Commercial Music Production programs, as well as Lyric Diction at Northern Kentucky University.

During the pandemic, all lessons will be conducted online. Don't live in Cincinnati? No problem! I am currently accepting students from all over the country.
